KENNEWICK, Wash. – The Kennewick Fire Department is preparing for a leadership change with Michael Heffner set to take over as the new fire chief beginning October 16th.
Heffner, who has dedicated nearly 30 years to fighting fires, expressed his commitment to the community. "We want to meet the needs of our community. They're the reason we do what we do," Heffner said.
