The Canadian government has announced it is investing more than $52 million in Quebec to improve access to health and social services in English for anglophone communities.
In a statement Wednesday, Health Canada said the funding will support the Community Health and Social Services Network (CHSSN) and McGill University through the Official Languages Health Program. It said it will help recruit and retain bilingual health professionals, and provide language training to health and social services staff.
