A general contractor who inserted himself into a dispute between two neighbors and then fatally stabbed one of them was convicted of murder Wednesday.
A Clackamas County jury found Chad Westover, 53, guilty of second-degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon in the Sept. 21, 2024 killing of off-duty mailman Tristan Thomas. The jury acquitted him of evidence tampering, a misdemeanor.
