Harrisburg High School – John Harris Campus Principal Christopher Sattele is set to resign from his position this December, pending board approval.

During a Tuesday, Oct. 14, Harrisburg School District board meeting , the office of human resources submitted a personnel agenda that includes a Dec. 8 resignation date for Sattele.

The board will vote to approve the personnel agenda during its Oct. 28 meeting.

Sattele, who has been a teacher or school administrator throughout his nearly 25-year career, took over as principal at the John Harris Campus in October 2024, according to his LinkedIn page .

Sattele also briefly took over for former Harrisburg High School principal Laquan Magruder in January 2024 after he violated a protection-from-abuse order and was escorted off campus by
