A MAN is in a serious condition in Tamworth hospital after he was found lying in a ditch on the side of the road on Thursday morning.
Ambulance paramedics received a triple zero call for help after the man in his 40s was found with serious injuries on the side of the Waterfall Way at Metz, outside of Armidale.
NSW Ambulance told the Leader the man had been thrown from a motorbike and was discovered lying in a ditch, near the intersection of Silverton Road, just before 7am on Thursday, October 16.
He suffered serious head and lower limb injuries, the ambulance spokesperson confirmed.
