WASHINGTON — Deputies with the Culpeper County Sheriff's Office have arrested a man in connection with a break in and abduction.

The homeowner told police the suspect, identified as Jesse Harris, broke into his house using some sort of pipe. The homeowner then armed himself with a sword.

Harris used the pipe to break windows on the house and dragged a woman out of the home. Investigators later determined the woman was an acquaintance of Harris.

Harris threw the pipe at the homeowner and ran into a wooded area near the home with the woman. K9 teams arrived and began tracking the two on foot with drones overhead assisting with the search.
