FRIDLEY, Minn. — An investigation is underway after a bomb threat was made to a local hospital.

Mercy Hospital's Unity Campus in Fridley received the threat at about 3 p.m. Wednesday and went on lockdown, authorities say.

Fridley Police, along with Allina Health Security, searched the building and property. When the search was finished, the hospital was able to open back up.

Law enforcement is asking anyone with information to submit a tip at FridleyMN.gov/Tip411.
