The Detroit Lions’ depleted secondary is going to receive some reinforcements as the team is reportedly signing safety Jammie Robinson to a one-year deal, according to a report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler .
Robinson, drafted in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, was most recently with the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad, having his contract terminated by the team on Wednesday to add another player.
The Florida State product entered the league with the Carolina Panthers and played in 15 games as a rookie, primarily on special teams. He did get a handful of opportunities at defensive snaps and totaled 17 tackles as a rookie.
His second season, Robinson played in six games before being waived by the Panthers in December 2024. In two seasons with the team, Robinson totaled 21 games
