TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Nearly 30 people have been arrested for domestic violence in Tulare County since the start of the month.

Since Oct. 1, deputies say 29 domestic violence arrests have been made.

On Wednesday alone, 77 deputies and officers attempted to serve more than 100 felony and misdemeanor arrest warrants, resulting in 20 people being taken into custody.

The arrests are part of the 22nd annual National Family Violence Apprehension Detail in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
