LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Halloween is just a little over two weeks away, and Clark County wants to remind the Las Vegas Valley that while it is a night full of frightful fun, costumes, and candy, it can also be one of the most dangerous nights of the year for young pedestrians.

The county's "Inside by 9" campaign encourages trick-or-treating in neighborhoods to wrap up by 9 p.m. and for porch lights to be turned off at that me.

Through Friday, Oct. 31, Clark County is also hosting several events at community parks and recreation centers.
