ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A woman’s life is forever changed after a car crash involving Cobb County Police. Now, she is suing Cobb County in a multi-million-dollar lawsuit.

Terri Ball is suing Cobb County for $15 million after a police chase in February nearly cost her her life and left her with an amputated right arm and other serious injuries.

“She is going to need medical care from now on, and she’s permanently disabled,” said Henry Ball, Terri Ball’s brother.

Terri’s lawsuit stems from a shoplifting incident involving another man earlier this year. In January, records show that Patrick Dingivan stole 15 cases of water worth $76 from a QuikTrip.
