The Toronto Blue Jays got back on track in the hitting department in Game 3 of the ALCS versus the Seattle Mariners.
After a beatdown of the New York Yankees in the ALDS, the Blue Jays bats went ice cold in the first two games of the ALCS versus the Mariners. In each of the losses, they failed to score a single run from the third inning on. That was a much different story on Wednesday.
The Blue Jays appeared to be in trouble early in Game 3, as a first-inning home run from Julio Rodriguez put the Mariners up 2-0. After that, it was all Jays.
The Jays were able to score five runs in the third inning in what ended up being a 13-4 victory. Every player up and down the lineup had huge performances, as proven by the fact that they had 18 hits, five of which were home runs.
As if that were
