Frank Roche: David Clifford’s early club exit is good news for Kerry, bad news for all the rest

David Clifford is the same as every other competitive beast. He hates losing. He differs from most mortals in that he’s particularly good at winning.
Safe to say, then, the 2025 Footballer of the Year (in waiting) won’t have enjoyed last Saturday’s Kerry SFC quarter-final.
