SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) - Football season usually comes and goes at Briar Cliff University.
Seasons ended after a stack up of losses. But for senior quarterback Brock Saya, his seasons have been shut down by injuries.
"My sophomore year here I tore my ACL playinf football. ACL, meniscus...all the fun stuff. My junior year I separated my AC joint. It was a Grade 3 and it took me out for the season," Saya said.
Riddled with injuries, the two-sport athlete chapter of Brock's stary seemed to be closing.
"Mentally it was tough. It would be for anyone. There were days where it did not feel like that. It didn't feel like that. It felt like it was ongoing injuries and it's just going to reoccur and happen again," Saya added.
