Amazon is reportedly preparing another round of layoffs—this time targeting as much as 15% of its human resources division, with additional cuts expected across other business units, Fortune reported, citing multiple sources familiar with the plans.

According to the report, Amazon’s People eXperience and Technology (PXT) team—which handles HR, recruiting, and related tech functions—will be among the hardest hit.

Other parts of the company’s core consumer business may also face job reductions, though the total number of affected employees and the exact timing remain unclear.

Amazon has already carried out smaller layoffs earlier this year in units such as consumer devices, Amazon Web Services, and its Wondery podcast division. The company declined to comment on the latest reports.
