Strathaven Beer Festival is set to return in 2026 following a successful event this May. ‌

And things are “heating up” for the second year, as organisers reintroduce the Strathaven Chilli Eating competition. ‌

That’s after they teamed up with Theo Giameos and his team at town favourite, Roasted Cafe. ‌

Over 1100 revellers descended on the town’s George Allan Park for the inaugural event this year, with feedback “overwhelmingly positive”.

Now beer lovers can mark Saturday, May 2, in their 2026 diary as the date for the event’s return, where organisers hope it won’t just be the chilli that’s hot.

Fraser Wilson from the festival told Lanarkshire Live: “We can’t wait to bring back the event to George Allan Park next year. ‌
