Automobile exports from India have shown growth path not only monthly wise in September, but also in the second quarter (Q2) and in the last six months (first half of the financial year) for both passenger vehicles (PVs) and two-wheelers (2Ws).

The latest numbers shared by Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) indicated that the total PV exports grew by 30.3 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) to 87,762 units in September as compared with 67,379 units in the same month last year.

Similarly, the total 2W exports grew by 15.3 per cent y-o-y to 4,29,562 units during the month as against 3,72,481 units in September 2024.
