RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - Rutherford County Fire and Rescue said crews will be conducting live fire training Thursday.

RCFR said the training exercise will be at a residence at 4821 Lascassas Pike. It will begin in the morning and continue throughout the day.

Officials said residents in the area should not be alarmed if they see smoke or fire in the area as the controlled burn is part of firefighter training.

RCFR said the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office will be in the area assisting with traffic control during the training.
