A fourth minute goal against was answered by a pair of goals later in the first half for Union City as it rallied out of an early hole against Dickinson and held on for a 3-2 win in Jersey City.

Randy Luna and Amara Kenema scored in the 18th and 26th minutes respectively as Union City flipped its early one-goal deficit into a lead.

Babacar Niasse potted an insurance tally in the 41st minute as Union City doubled its lead, and that insurance proved critical as Union City ceded an own goal in the 55th minute to cut the lead to one.

Alexis Rabanales recorded two assists while Jeff Vergara and David Ministro combined to make 15 saves in goal for Union City (12-3).

Zahradeen Amadou scored the early goal and Momar Sy made 14 saves for Dickinson (6-7-1).
