Two East Lothian youths were charged after an alleged break-in at a local Co-op.
The incident took place on North Berwick High Street at around 3.20am on Tuesday October 14.
Local officers said a young female and male were reported to the relevant authority following the disturbance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.20am on Tuesday, 14 October, 2025, we received a report of a break-in to a premises on High Street, North Berwick.
“A male youth and a female youth have been charged in connection.
"A report will be submitted to the relevant authority.”
It comes after a resident of Russell Walk reported two individuals clad in black approaching their front door.
They stated it was the second occurrence where the front door of their home was 'tried' in the space of a wee
