LONDON, Oct 16 (Reuters) – Britain's competition regulator on Thursday set out plans to clarify measures to allow some mergers to be cleared faster, with effective behavioural remedies rather than structural remedies such as disposals. "The result is a comprehensive refresh of our remedies guidance, designed to give greater clarity and certainty about our approach while keeping the focus firmly on effective outcomes," Joel Bamford, Executive Director for Mergers at the Competition and Markets Authority, said in the statement.
