Ricky Hatton, the former British boxing world champion, was found dead at his home in Manchester on 14 September 2025. The inquest at Stockport Coroner’s Court confirmed his cause of death; he had died by hanging. His manager, Paul Speak, found him unresponsive that morning when he went to pick him up for a flight to Dubai.
