WATERTOWN – The Conservation Commission/Inland Wetlands Agency approved one application at their meeting last Thursday. Commissioners also scheduled three site walks for November and reviewed proposed work on a previously noticed violation at 227 Woodbury Road.
That NOV was issued back in March after it was discovered that a pond at the location had apparently been filled in, allegedly causing flooding problems downstream. Engineer, Alan Shepard, representing owners James J. Gregorio and Victoria Gregorio said that in his opinion the 36 inch pipe downstream is undersized for the task of handling water flows during a major storm. He said the watershed west of Hamilton Lane does a good job of absorbing water and saving downstream property owners from even worst damage.
