CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three people are in custody after a tow truck driver said he was being chased and had a gun pointed at him on the South Side Wednesday night, Chicago police said.

The incident took place at about 10:45 p.m. in the 1400-block of West 71st Street.

The tow truck company shared dash camera video of the incident late last night in Englewood. They said it shows the suspects pointing what appears to be a gun out of the window, and toward the tow truck driver after he tried to tow a car.

Police said the victim, a 28-year-old man, was attempting to tow a vehicle when he was approached by a dark colored vehicle in the 7200-block of South Paulina Avenue.
