It looks like there's a very slim chance that we could see the Galaxy S26 Edge. One of the big pushes in smartphones has been to make phones thinner than ever. However, poor sales have reportedly led to Samsung halting production of the Galaxy S25 Edge and even its successor.
Samsung released the Galaxy S25 Edge back in May 2025 as a new, thinner smartphone. While Samsung denied any claims that the phone was developed in response to the rumored iPhone Air, it was still one of the first phones to offer an ultra thin design. However, a new report has indicated that the phone has not sold as well as expected.
According to South Korea’s Newspim, the Galaxy S25 Edge had reached only 1.31 million units sold as of August. In comparison, the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra have sold 8.
