A key symptom could help determine whether your illness is COVID-19 rather than flu. The NHS has cautioned that cases of both viruses have been climbing in recent weeks.
The latest figures from the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) showed that flu positivity increased from 1.9 per cent to 3.3 per cent. COVID-19 positivity in hospital environments rose from 11.7 per cent in the preceding week to 12.9 per cent.
