Londoners appear to be somewhat happier about their quality of life in the city, but worries over safety, homelessness and housing affordability are top of mind for many residents, a new poll by Nanos Research suggests.

According to the survey, commissioned by the London and St. Thomas Association of Realtors (LSTAR), 42 per cent of respondents rated their overall quality of life as “very good,” followed by 50 per cent who rated it as “average,” and eight per cent as “poor.”

The number of people who rated their quality of life as very good is up from 36 per cent in the 2023 survey but well below the 66 per cent who gave London that rating in 2019.
