Kevin Federline detailed what exactly happened moments before his ex-wife, Britney Spears, infamously shaved her head in 2007.

The former backup dancer alleges that Spears had “showed up at the gate, ringing the bell and shouting a bunch of things that didn’t make sense” after checking herself out of rehab, per an excerpt of his upcoming memoir, “ You Thought You Knew ,” obtained by E! News .

“The only words that came through clearly were: LET. ME. IN. Over and over again,” Federline, 47, recounts before adding, “Then she started climbing the front gate … I stayed inside with the kids, trying to keep things calm. I couldn’t stand to see her like this.”

Because Spears was allegedly “in no condition to be around our kids,” security turned her away.
