A man has appeared in court charged over a sex attack in Birmingham.

Matthew Buffong, 43, has been charged with sexual assault on a female in Acocks Green.

West Midlands Police said that officers were called to reports a woman had been assaulted at 6.30pm on Woodcock Lane, on October 5.

He was due to appear before JPs at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, October 16.
