DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Police are investigating the circumstances behind a shooting early Thursday morning at an apartment complex that has seen a few violent incidents this year.

Officers with the Durham Police Department reported that just before 1 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call in a small cul-de-sac just off of Danube Lane and Dearborn Drive at the Oxford Manor Apartments.

CBS 17 was at the scene where police cleared the parking lot of an apartment building along the 3600 block of Danube Lane. One upstairs window of an apartment unit had bullet holes.
