Two legendary figures in darts, PDC Master of Ceremonies John McDonald and renowned referee George Noble, have announced their retirement from the sport following the upcoming World Championship . ‌

The PDC has revealed that 'an era will end' when the pair step away after the conclusion of the 2025/26 World Championships. McDonald has been working full-time on PDC tournaments since 2007 , whilst Noble has dedicated nearly twenty years to officiating on the PDC circuit. ‌
