STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - A 35-year-old man is dead and a woman is listed in stable condition after a domestic violence shooting in Plain Township Wednesday afternoon.

The shooting happened around 430 p.m. at an apartment building in the 4100 block of Orchard Dale Dr. NW.

Stark County Sheriff Eric Weisburn said Rodney Boley shot at his partner multiple times with a pistol before turning the gun on himself.

“The woman was shot. She was struck I believe three times with a 9mml,” said Sheriff Weisburn.

The woman, whose name is not being released, is being treated at Aultman Hospital.

Boley was pronounced dead at the scene.
