BOSSIER CITY, La. - Out of an abundance of caution and in response to this morning’s shelter-in-place alert, Bossier Parish Community College’s Bossier City Campus will remain closed for the remainder of Thursday due to a nearby police chase and manhunt at Pepper Point Mobile Home Park in the 6200 block of East Texas Street.
Campus police promptly initiated the college’s lockdown procedures, which included automatic door locks and immediate emergency notifications through text, email, social media, and the learning management system, college officials said.
