WASKEFIELD, R.I. (WLNE) — A Warwick man was sentenced Wednesday after being convicted of charges stemming from a deadly 2024 DUI crash.

According to Tim Rondeau, Director of Communications for Attorney General Peter Neronha, Daniel Famiglietti, 60, will serve seven years at the ACI after being convicted in the North Kingstown incident.

He also faces a $5,000 fine, alcohol counseling and a five year driver’s license suspension upon completion of his sentence.

He pleaded nolo contendere to one count of driving under the influence resulting in death.

The incident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. on June 20, 2024 when North Kingstown police responded to a crash at the intersection of Boston Neck Road and Earle Drive.
