GLOCESTER – High schools in the area that have long competed with the quality Career and Technology Education pathways offered at Ponaganset High School will be invited to work in the school’s new Greenovation Lab.

With local schools catching up by providing CTE options, PHS CTE Coordinator and Director of Parent Support Karyn Sarkis said PHS is still leading the way in programming.

PHS has 17 state-approved programs for a comprehensive high school, said Supt. Renee Palazzo. Students continue to be drawn to the district for its programming and the high school’s beautiful campus, she said.

“It’s bright, it’s open, and it’s very clean,” Palazzo said.

Palazzo said there is an extensive waiting list for out-of-district students who want to attend a PHS CTE program. Popular programs include
