Srinagar, Oct 16: Jammu and Kashmir is emerging as a sports hub in India considering the international and national events being hosted by the Union Territory on a regular basis.

This was stated by the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar at the valedictory of the 10th All India Police Games Judo Cluster hosted by J&K Police under the aegis of All India Sports Control Board (AIPSCB) at Srinagar today.

“The hosting of mega events of international and national repute in the recent past has made J&K as a emerging hub of sports in India. The Centre is committed to prioritise development of modern infrastructure for sports in the UT,” said the MoS Home.
