KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Rookie left tackle Josh Simmons did not practice Wednesday as the Kansas City Chiefs begin preparation for the Las Vegas Raiders.
Details surrounding Simmons’ absence remain sparce as the Chiefs provided few details Wednesday. Simmons missed Sunday night’s game against the Detroit Lions due to a personal matter, which was first reported hours before kickoff.
“As far as the Josh Simmons situation goes, I’m not going to comment on it today,” head coach Andy Reid said. “(General manager) Brett Veach is handling everything there and we’ll leave it at that.”
