KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Chiefs welcome a key offensive weapon back to the field this week.

Wide receiver Rashee Rice’s six-game suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy has officially concluded. He’ll be eligible to play for the first time this season Sunday against the Raiders at Arrowhead.

“He’s going to want to be out there every single play,” Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes said. “That’s the mentality that he has. I think it’s gonna be our job as teammates and coaches to kind of build him back the right way, but it’s gonna be hard to keep him off the field for sure.”

Rice returned to practice for the first time Wednesday afternoon, preparing for his first NFL game in 385 days.
