Donald “Dutch” Hoag was one of the most successful and versatile modified stock car drivers of his time and his son, Dean, and grandson, Alex, were also successful on local short tracks.

This weekend, the Outlaw Speedway in Dundee will honor this great Bath racing family with the 14th annual Hoag Memorial program this Friday and Saturday night.

For many years during his Hall of Fame driving career, Dutch Hoag carried the No. 7 on his modifieds and this weekend’s payoffs will honor that number. Saturday’s modified victor will pocket a nice $7,777.77 check. The sportsman winner banks, $5,077.77, while the street stock winner gets $2,777.77.
