PARK CITY, Utah (ABC4) — From downtown Park City to Weber Canyon, a fresh blanket of snow covered the Wasatch mountains on Thursday morning.
The traction law is in effect for Little Cottonwood Canyon (SR-210). According to ABC4's 4Warn weather team, snow is expected above 7000 feet with accumulations between four to eight inches expected at the highest peaks of the Wasatch and Uinta mountains.
According to the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), snow plows were out and running helping clear some of the snow off the roads. Ski resorts like Brighton and Alta reported receiving about 8" of snow Thursday morning.
