The latest poll, released Tuesday, found that 40% of Americans approved of Trump’s performance as president while 55% disapproved. The poll comes nearly 10 months into his second term in office, in which he has enacted a mass deportation agenda, deployed National Guard troops to U.S. cities to crack down on crime and implemented costly tariffs on imports into the country.
