MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) -- A quarterly list of South Carolina's top delinquent taxpayers released on Wednesday includes more than 40 Horry County people and businesses who combined owe the state more than $11.2 million.

In the Pee Dee, the list includes several individuals and businesses from Darlington, Marion and Florence counties, but none from Dillon and Marlboro counties.

Clarence J. Michel of Lancaster, Kentucky, has the state's largest individual delinquent tax bill, nearly $3.2 million, according to the South Carolina Department of Revenue. Among businesses, Beacon Sales Acquisition of Herndon, Virginia, owes the most to the state, $6,772,909.04.
