HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - The University of Evansville is set to become the first school in the country to produce a performance of the "Jagged Little Pill" Broadway musical.
Alanis Morrisette's 1995 album "Jagged Little Pill" was a huge hit and redefined rock music at the time. The Broadway musical of the same name debuted near the end of 2019 and sadly closed due to COVID.
The University of Evansville's theatre department will be the first school to produce the performance in the country, and the performance starts October 17.
Director Wes Grantom and actress Tomi Akinwande spoke with Eyewitness News about the upcoming performance.
