GREENVILLE, S.C. —

A Greenville, South Carolina, man, who authorities say forcibly abducted two victims in downtown Greenville, is headed to prison for life.

Thirteenth Circuit Solicitor Cindy Crick said a Greenville County jury convicted Tony McKinley Dillard, 53, of armed robbery, attempted armed robbery, and two counts of kidnapping.

Evidence presented during the trial by Assistant Solicitors Chet Palumbo and Seth Redus Johnson showed that on Oct. 14, 2023, Dillard forcibly abducted two victims and walked them down Main Street in an effort to have them withdraw money from an ATM.
