Just when it seems like the picture of who the contenders and state powers are going to be this year, some teams come along and spring upsets that drastically change things.

That was the case with Montclair and Summit, two teams which have been ranked plenty of times before, but both enter the rankings for the first time this season this week thanks to beating a Scotch Plains-Fanwood team that was previously ranked inside the Top 10.
