NORMAN — Last spring, following the first OU men’s basketball NCAA Tournament berth in six years, the Sooners were in the midst of mass roster turnover once again.

Coach Porter Moser lost his seven leading scorers from his best team in four seasons at the helm and was set to attack the transfer portal aggressively for another offseason. College basketball has increasingly become a year-to-year sport in terms of roster turnover in the era of name, image and likeness, revenue-sharing and the portal, and few coaches have been impacted more than Moser.
