Edinburgh residents were left baffled after seeing a golf cart smashed into a vehicle.

According to police , three golf buggies were stolen in Firhill on Thursday, October 16. One local resident told Edinburgh Live that they witnessed 'youths on a golf cart rampage' at around 4am.

Later in the day, one of the carts was seen after colliding with a vehicle on Firhill Drive. Police have said enquiries are ongoing.

It is not currently known if any injuries were sustained.

A local resident, who prefers to remain anonymous, told us: "The golf cart was on Firrhill Drive this morning.

"4am golf cart rampage in Oxgangs. I saw three youths on them."
