A Midlothian dad has opened up on his rare condition which has had a 'devastating' impact on him and his family .
Daniel Fraser, 36, was told by doctors he has Friedreich's Ataxia last year. The condition affects his speech, balance and co-ordination - making him 'appear drunk'.
The diagnosis has left him unable to do a lot of things for his children, aged five and three, and 'things that most people take for granted'. While doctors told Daniel that there was no treatment or cure, he came across something called the Mollii Suit - which sends electric signals to muscles throughout the body and helps those with mobility issues to walk better.
