CADIZ, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly opened fire at another man in a Trigg County neighborhood on Wednesday night.

According to WKDZ, 25-year-old Jordan Shemwell got into an argument with another man Wednesday night along Linda Lane.

The Trigg County Sheriff’s Office told WKDZ that the situation escalated, and Shemwell fired three rounds from a long rifle at the man.

Deputies reported that the shots missed the man, but bullet fragments struck his leg. He reportedly refused medical treatment.
