Electronic Arts revealed Thursday that “ Battlefield 6 ,” the latest entry into EA’s long-running “Battlefield” video game franchise, sold more than seven million copies in the first three days following its Oct. 10 launch.

That still-growing sales figure marks a “Battlefield” franchise record for “Battlefield 6,” which also saw more than 172 million matches played online and accumulated over 15 million hours watched on streaming services during the 3-day weekend, as well as earning the most concurrent players for “Battlefield” ever, according to EA.
